About Andrea

Andrea was born in the UK and moved to Canada with her husband Paul, and sons Neil, Ryan, when they were babies. They lived the perfect life in the Interior of BC and their home was filled with fun and a houseful of the boys’ friends. it was the place to hang out, and life was good, until one night everything changed, Neil was taken suddenly, and their lives, hopes and dreams for life crushed as they knew it.
Out of desperation and the series of events that changes their lives Andrea, Paul and their 4 dogs moved to the BC Coast to be closer to family as Paul struggles with debilitating Rheumatoid arthritis. struggle east of Vancouver with their four dogs, Their beautiful grown son Ryan still lives in the beautiful interior of BC. Andrea spends her time writing, coaching and speaking to people with real life issues. She has a desire for people to find a purpose and a means to make the very best life they can, whatever the situation. She founded www.arthritisandbeyond.com a support site for people suffering with arthritis, depression and related diseases, www.survivingthelossofachild.com, a support group for people to share their pain and experience around the grief and loss of their child (no matter what the age), www.forlovingcouples.com, which covers every aspect form dating to marriage, divorce and overcoming difficulties and www.all-about-life.com,which covers a myriad of topics about “real life” issues.
Andrea spent 16 years as a realtor, 5 years in career, life coaching and counseling and continues her career as a life coach. She is dedicated to working with people and supporting them through their growth and personal issues whatever they may be.
Andrea has volunteered for the Red Cross-Abuse Prevention Services, The Crisis Centre, Hospice –Grief and Loss Counseling for children and Therapeutic Riding Association. She studied Satir Family Therapy, Solution Focused Counseling, Neuro Linguistics, qualified to administer Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Emotional Freedom Techniques ((EFT) She is dedicated to life-long learning and continues to study various therapies and techniques include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a myriad of therapies continuously seeking answers to help others. She wants to share with you what she has learned and believes you have to go on, keep fighting, find small steps to help you to find your new normal and live the best life you can have.
