Maybe my next romantic trip will be a “green” one.  There is so much to consider when planning a honeymoon–because you want it to be special–something that will bring up wonderful memories.  I looked into the World Wildlife Fund travel division.  They offer an amazing number of tours!  And it seems they value quality travel as well as taking the planet into account.   How do they protect the planet?  They do things like limiting flying time by focusing on one destination, supporting sustainable community tourism, using smaller ships for a smaller carbon footprint, and encouraging carbon offsets.  Currently their top five destinations are the Galapagos Islands, India, Baja, Africa, and Costa Rica.  Apparently the wildlife is amazing, whether viewing on land, on water, or underwater.
